OCTOBER 2008

MEET EDDIE FISCHER OF SAVERIO CUSTOMER CLOTHIERS

Tell us about yourself and your Organization

I am a very happy, grateful, and spiritual man. I am blessed and I am thrilled about being truly present in life and actively living my dreams as a husband, stepfather, son, brother, friend, and entrepreneur. I made a decision to get out on the skinny branches and taste the sweet fruit. It is fantastic!

I am the Founder of Saverio Custom Clothiers, the ultimate expression of style. Saverio has a luxury boutique showroom located in the exclusive Market Street area of DC Ranch in North Scottsdale, Arizona. We specialize in luxury custom made-to-measure clothing for men and women by providing endless creative wardrobe experiences starting with the best fabrics in the world then designing attire according to the customer’s lifestyle. We then compliment the finest accessories to finish the total package. The world of custom clothing is not always about suits; it includes ties, shirts, shoes, and shorts. We design formal to casual wear and meet clients at our showroom, in their office, in our home here in Scottsdale, or wherever else I am needed in the United States, and soon, abroad.

The company’s name comes from my great-grandfather Saverio Matarangelo who came to this country from Naples, Italy.

How were you and your Organization introduced to Rapport Leadership International?

My introduction to Rapport came from my then boss, and now my very close and dear friend, Brenda Stoney. I believe Brenda was in class number 34—a true pioneer from the beginning. Brenda informed me she was nominating me for a class that would resonate with my heart and soul. Boy! Was she right!

Brenda was so passionate about Rapport and she knew what it would do for me. She was so kind to pay my way to Leadership Breakthrough One with the agreement that I would do the same for someone else, to PAY IT FORWARD. I trusted and respected her, so I agreed. It will always be one of the best decisions I have ever made! I have kept my promise: during Christmas of 2006, I purchased a Master Graduate (Leader One, Leader Two, and Power Communication) package for my wife.

How many Rapport Graduates does your organization have?

Thus far, we have two: my wife and I. We are both Master Graduates. We have nominated friends and family and have attended many graduations. Saverio is also working with Rapport to achieve its corporate goals.

What can you tell us about your Rapport Experience?

Holy Cow! Each class has brought so many different experiences. They occurred at such various stages of my life's journey. I am grateful that I gave myself time to reflect and soak in each experience and not jump into one class after the other. I allowed two years to achieve my Master Graduate certification.

I started in February of 2005 with Leadership Breakthrough One, which SIMPLY AND HONESTLY peeled me like an onion. I went into the class thinking, “I'm a leader and very outgoing, what can I possibly be taught?” Well, it was the beginning of an amazing personal life journey, a transformation that I will always treasure!

In November of 2006, I received the gift of meeting the most amazing group of individuals at Leadership Breakthrough Two. This class is my personal favorite and where my life came together. It inspired me to GO THE DISTANCE in my own personal recovery. I had such an overwhelming amount of emotion and honesty. I will be forever grateful to my team for their encouragement, compassion, and inspiration. I discovered my truth and I was able to speak it, share it, and completely embrace it.

In March of 2007, I attended Power Communication (PC) with my wife. It was her first Rapport experience and the class where I became a Master Graduate. I cannot say enough about that experience and what it did for my marriage. I would not be in the position I am today personally and my relationship with my wife would not be the way it is today without sharing PC together. I can still feel the emotion of getting up to receive that Master Graduate plaque in front of my wife and reflecting on my journey to get there.

I would also like to mention giving back and going on-team as a part of the Rapport experience. I had the most amazing time with the kids by going on-team for Teen Leadership Breakthrough and seeing them process what we do as adults. I have never been so touched and inspired during and after a graduation. I deeply encourage everyone to experience that!

How has Rapport influenced you personally?

I get to be honest and bold about my response. It has taken a once broken man and given him the tools, once again, to LIVE, LAUGH, and LOVE often and much. I am so grateful! I have regained my self-respect, values, integrity and true happiness. My heart beats with love and my soul is nourished yet again. I can now live my life by giving to others through my experience, strength, and hope. Today I am a husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

How has Rapport affected your business?

Rapport gives my organization no limitations and has given us a mission, vision, and core values. I was able to go through these processes when forming the company because of the Rapport experience, which was first on the list even before a business plan. Saverio would not even exist if it were not for Rapport Leadership International. We gained the courage to GO FOR IT and never settled for mediocrity. We learned to be the best and truly define what success means to us. Today I have the confidence and tools to perform at a very high level. What could be more challenging than having the courage and commitment to complete the Master Graduate requirements?

What is the most surprising benefit you and your organization received from Rapport Training?

The biggest surprise has been the never-ending contact with individuals that have shared and experienced these life-altering courses. I hear from teammates who check in just to see how life is treating me and to give me encouragement. That speaks volumes about Rapport because their training is so much more than leadership. My organization has benefited from the amazing support from more experienced entrepreneurs who provide valuable information to assist a newcomer and help us along the way.

How do you keep Rapport alive in your organization?

By truly living the core values of my company, being honest and responsible leaders and role models both personally and professionally. As Saverio grows, we will send our employees to Rapport and my wife and I have committed to finishing Eagle Quest and Life Mastery together as well as continuing to go on-team, which is very important for us Master Graduates.

What class had the greatest impact on you and why?

Without a doubt, Leadership Breakthrough Two was most influential. I had so many major breakthroughs during that class. It came at a time when I needed it most, and I was able to be truly present and deeply appreciate the experience. I found the courage to go the distance and, most importantly, I made a commitment to myself and to others that I cannot break. This moment of true accountability changed the meaning of my life and I reflect on it every day. I will keep my team close to my heart. They mean so much to me for what we experienced and what we accomplished.

When you face a challenge in your organization, what tools from the training do you call on first?

Always be in the solution and listen first before reacting. Have patience and appreciate everyone’s voice. Do not ignore; instead, embrace everyone around you. When I get out of my own way, when I come from my heart and not my head, my organization and my life is better for it.
