MEET PROFIT PLATOON: FIVE TEAMS COLLABORATE FOR SUCCESS

Tell us about yourself and your Organization

My name is Frank Harrison and my company is General Air Conditioning located in Palm Springs, California. General Air Conditioning belongs to a National Industry Organization called Airtime 500 which is comprised of the “best of the best” air conditioning companies throughout the United States. Within Airtime 500, there are small groups called Profit Platoons. The Profit Platoon program is a peer and support-driven program designed to help each company achieve operational excellence.

There is an ongoing commitment by all five contractors to monitor each member’s success through monthly meetings and onsite visits. General Air Conditioning has formed an alliance with four great air conditioning companies. They are 72 Degrees Air Conditioning and Heating (Doug Clay), DCS Heating and Air Conditioning (Buff Brown), Desert Air Conditioning (Mike Saad), and West Coast Mechanical (Geoff Sanborn). All five companies are located in Southern California.

At the most recent Airtime 500 conference in Dallas, Texas, our Profit Platoon was voted the number one platoon out of nearly five hundred member companies. We were awarded a check for $61,048.00 which will pay each company’s annual dues. Not bad for a year of dedication by five terrific companies who have worked collaboratively to help each other remain successful during challenging economic times. As we were awarded the check, we were asked the secret to our success. We all agreed that the culture created by Rapport Leadership International was a major factor!

How did you and your organization learn about Rapport Leadership International?

My relationship with Rapport began in 2005. I am a Master Graduate as well as a graduate of Eagle Quest and Life Mastery. I have introduced my Profit Platoon as well as other Airtime members to Rapport. The other owners within my platoon attended Leadership Breakthrough One this year and will soon graduate Leadership Breakthrough Two.

How many Rapport Graduates does your organization have?

My company, General Air, has twenty-three Master Graduates out of thirty employees. The rest have attended Power Communication or Leadership Breakthrough One and are working to become Master Graduates. Airtime 500 has a number of Rapport Graduates, and I, personally, plan to continue sharing the reason for our success with members throughout the country. I have challenged all my Profit Platoon partners to begin sending their companies’ team members to Rapport’s training. The end result will be a culture designed for a successful organization.

How has Rapport influenced you personally?

Personally, Rapport has changed my life by adding a special passion for life and allowing me to live my Dash to the fullest.

How has Rapport affected your business?

Rapport has brought a culture to General Air Conditioning that has changed so many lives and has allowed the company to stay ahead of the curve in these challenging times.

How do you keep Rapport alive in your organization?

We hold recharge meetings monthly, attend graduations, go on team, and attend Organizational Performance Training. Most of all, we share our Rapport vision at every opportunity.
