What does working at Rapport mean to me?

Working at Rapport means being a student for LIFE. The awareness I experience daily with our team members is like a wonderful journey. Each person here serves a different purpose and to honor that purpose, everyday is a celebration!  We are all here for something bigger than we are, and that is to make a difference in the world. Although we do not see an immediate impact, we create a powerful ripple effect of leadership everday, yet we all know that one has been created. We recognize that there is tremendous responsibility behind each choice and action or inaction we take.

Rapport represents “unity,” and when we all are united we know the world is working together to create a powerful choice worth supporting.

What do I love about my position at Rapport?

I love my position at Rapport because I always have a choice. I know that "I" create my environment. Being at Rapport is pure joy because of the learning that occurs daily. As a team, we create awareness, support, trust, and passion in our environment.

We learn from our graduates, our families, and our team members. We learn from each other and present many opportunities for growth. Everyday I get to wake up knowing that I have a purpose because the support is here for everyone to come together.

If I could share anything with the Rapport family of graduates,  what would it be?

Be open: the world is waiting to offer you your dreams. Learn from others that may be different from you, for they may have the answer you have been waiting for all your life. Allow yourself to be part of “change,” especially the tough changes because the best lessons come from them. And, as a great teacher once told me, “Don’t take yourself so seriously!” That’s all.
