Meet Karen Penrod: Senior Leadership Training Advisor
We are pleased to introduce you to Karen Penrod, a Senior Leadership Training Advisor and proud mother of six who has just celebrated her fifth year at Rapport Leadership International. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Karen has worked in various fields from running an insurance agency to owning and operating the Computer Learning Center in Las Vegas. At Rapport, she has found what she calls her last job because for her it's more than a job - it's a way to support her family and make a lasting difference in the world by partnering with world class companies to build strong, leadership-based cultures and individuals.
What does working at Rapport mean to you?
Working at Rapport is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself. Rapport is making a difference in the lives of people all over the world and in all different industries and walks of life. I get to be part of making that difference. I feel blessed every day.
What do you love about your position at Rapport?
I love my clients and the connection I have with them. I have the best job on the planet! Our amazing trainers get you for two and a half days… your LTA gets you for life if you want the support! I love the education I get everyday and the opportunity to help people affect the change they want.
If you could share anything with the entire family of Rapport graduates what would it be?
The law of the universe is “ask, seek and knock.” Get out there and focus on what you want. Use the tools you receive at Rapport and make things happen. I talk to people every day who use what they learn in our training and affect change in their families, their businesses and their communities. Those individuals don’t wait for opportunity to come to them. They seek it out, break down the barriers and make it happen. Make a stand. It is my responsibility. It is your responsibility. Aren’t we fortunate?
