RAPPORT INSPIRES MILWAUKEE WITH YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Through a synergistic partnership with the Werklund Foundation in Calgary, Rapport’s education program has taken root in Canadian schools. The effectiveness of this program, its impact on teens, and its positive outcomes, continue to act as catalysts for its growth and success.
To help fulfill our vision of proactively advancing the social, emotional, and ethical development of our youth, Rapport presented its education program to leaders in the Milwaukee community. Bridgit Barainca, Vice President of Rapport’s Educational Programs, and Deanna Werklund, Director of The Werklund Foundation, shared the inspiring story of their successful partnership and explained how attendees can bring Rapport’s Teen Leadership training into their own community.
The presentation featured results from the University of Calgary study, which provides evidence that improved emotional intelligence and self-concept are among the benefits of Rapport’s Teen Leadership Breakthrough training. Already, Rapport has worked at Pearls for Teen Girls in Milwaukee and St. Joan Antida, an all-girl high school in Milwaukee.
