In May 2007, Rapport Leadership International had the privilege to participate in the First Global Neuro-Leadership Summit located in Asolo, Italy. Rapport co-owners Michael and Christine Saletta along with Lori Alexander, Rapport’s Director of Trainer Education, joined approximately 60 other great minds from around the world to discuss the ongoing evolution of leadership development. Top scientists, researchers, authors, business leaders, executive coaches and educators joined forces to explore the integration and synergies between neuroscience and leadership development. Groundbreaking research has set the stage for knowledge sharing and expert collaboration to explore the possibilities of optimizing leadership behaviors within individuals, organizations and systems.

Neuroleadership is a new field of study focused on bringing neuroscientific knowledge into the area of leadership development, management training, education, consulting and coaching.  As the world learns more about the brain and the science of leadership, we have the ability to maximize the development of leaders and organizations.

Dr. Al Ringleb, Executive Director of CIMBA and Rapport’s University Partner, is a founder and driver of the NeuroLeadership Institute along with David Rock, author of Quiet Leadership and a key note speaker at Rapport’s own Leadership Summit in 2006 – both individuals are committed to building a better science for leadership development.  John Case, President of Electrolux North America was also a featured speaker at the NeuroLeadership Summit; he explained his FAT philosophy (Focus, Accountability, and Teamwork) and how his use of Rapport training helped to create extraordinary results within his organization.  John Case and Dr. Al Ringleb will both be featured key note speakers at Rapport’s Real Leadership Summit this November 8-10, 2007.
