What does working at Rapport mean to you?
Working at Rapport has been a phenomenal experience. At Rapport, I have the opportunity for continued personal growth in my life, recognizing who I truly am, and realizing many of my dreams. I have met incredible people who have made lasting impressions in my life. I get to work with people who want to touch lives, to be part of a greater purpose. I am fortunate to work for an organization in which personal growth, feedback, accountability, support, passion, empathy, and love are a normal part of our everyday lives. At Rapport, I have some of the most amazing mentors and teachers, people who hold the bar high and live Dantotsu (the best of the best). There is a saying: “You are who you surround yourself with.” I am proud to be associated such passionate teammates who make a change in this world, who are willing to do whatever it takes, and who always strive for excellence.
What do you love about your position at Rapport?
I have the incredible honor to be a Trainer and a Leadership Training Advisor. As a trainer, I love watching the transformation in our students. I see them gain the confidence to be who they are, the freedom to LIVE the life they want and deserve, the willingness to speak and share their hearts and minds. I also see them clarify the commitments and the actions they will take to move toward the direction and the goals they have for themselves, their families, and their businesses. Our students truly unleash their potential and they get to see the endless possibilities in their lives. It is so moving to be a part of this. It is such a huge honor and also very humbling to be a part of the training team. What I do is not a job; it is a lifestyle, and it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. The students are my teachers.
As a Leadership Training Advisor, I build relationships and friendships and see the actions our students take in their personal lives, their businesses, and their communities. It is so rewarding to have our students come out of the training with dreams and goals and plans of how to put action to their dreams. It is about living the dash and making a difference! I help them by being a support system, listening, laughing, crying, holding them accountable, helping them set plans, and working with them to be their best. I love the people I get to call, meet, and work with! They continue to teach me, inspire me to be my best, and hold up the mirror for me.
If you could share anything with the Rapport family of graduates, what would it be?
You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. The dream that is inside you – go for it, live it. It is there for a reason. Live your potential. Fall forward. Know that there is no such thing as failing. There are lessons to learn in everything you do and life’s challenges, obstacles, and successes have helped to make you the person you are today. Create the life you want because you deserve it. Be your best, believe in yourself, and keep stretching. Surround yourself with people who are real, who will not sympathy vote you, who accept you for you, and support you. You make a difference! You are significant! Everything you do affects people around you. Everything you do is a choice. You have the choice to get up every morning and live your life to the fullest! Ask yourself what you want, and then focus on that and take action. As Gandhi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”.
